Here is a list of words that is commonly used by slot machine gamblers. You might think that they have their own little world by using terminology that you may not understand. Here are the words they use to keep you at par with their thoughts.

1. Bonus Feature Slot - is a specials kind of slot that offers bonus rounds that gives the player the possibility to win free spins, jackpots or a bigger price.

2. Bonus Multiplier Slots - a slot machine that rewards you bonuses when the maximum is played. I.e. betting 1 coin will give you 2 coins if you win, betting 2 coins will give you 4 coins and so on.

3. Coin size - are the coins allowed by some machines you can play with them. Coin sizes could either be .25 cents to a dollar or $5.

10. Pay Cycle - a slot machine that grows through the cycles and sometimes pays out winnings to players. Sometimes it takes the profit of the casinos. This is just a rumor because the random number generators can not be easily guessed. This cycle is more likely to happen in the past.

11. Pay Table - the table of symbols that shows what combination is needed to win.

12. Pay Line - the line where the symbols need to be to be considered valid as winnings. Usually found at the middle. Now, there are slot machines that activate as many as 9 pay lines when the max number is played.

13. Payout Percentage - the amount of winnings slot machines give for every $100 wagered.

14. Progressive Jackpot - the jackpot of the slot machine grows until a player wins. When someone wins, the jackpot is reset.

15. Reels - display wheels showing the symbols.

16. Sim slots - shortened term for simulated slots or video slots

17. Tight slots - slot machine that does not pay out big winnings

18. Video slots - a slot machine whose reels have been replaced by a video screen.

19. Wild Symbol - the symbol in a slot machine similar to wild cards in card games.
